September 29th, 2002 was the date of the official Janes Village dedication.
A neighborhood-wide block-party took place in the center of Terrace Street to which EVERYONE showed up.
We unveiled the new Janes Village signs and officially introduced our neighborhood to the world at large.
There were several dignitaries in attendance including California Congressman Adam Schiff, representatives from the County Supervisor's Office and board members from Altadena Heritage.
